About Us

Welcome to Simply Fabanich,

Finding hope on your own can be difficult at times, and it can be hard to see the light in the darkness.  I was blessed with a simple faith in Jesus and during my darkest time he was my light.  Simply Fabanich is my blog, with help from my family, and inspiration from my a live lived simply.  I want to share the simple moments that get me through each day, for the simple things are a gift from God.

The beginning of this blog marks the changing of a life, my life, it also marks the ending of another.  I want to share with you my own personal journey through mental health, depression, treatment and suicide as a mother who lived, survived and thrived after the death of my oldest son.  All opinions and views expressed on my blog are mine.  I am just a mom starting a conversation about tough subjects.  If you would like to go on this journey with me I would welcome you and I will pray that you find peace with whatever you are dealing with.   I wanted to share with others who have been affected by suicide that they are not alone and it is not hopeless.  For none of us are without sorrow, nor are we spared from heartache, but it is how each of us rise up from the trenches of sorrow that makes the difference.

Most of the people whom I have met that have healed from the death of a loved SEE the precious moments in life for what they are, a gift.  So, I would like to invite you to come along and share with us a simple life, lived with heartache and joy.

God Bless,

Dawn Fabanich
